Cruisin' for a....

I am absolutely in love with my NARS 'Crusing' lipstick. It is such a pretty, sheer pink shade which seems to be quite long lasting. It looks great with a minimal amount of makeup, and it will look sultry with a bold eye. This is probably one of the only pink hues that I have found to like - a lot (I am medium o medium-dark in skin tone; very olive toned, NC40-42). It is neutral on me; not too blue or gray. I also really like the spicy scent NARS lipsticks have. Now, their lipgloss scent is a whole other story...

My next purchase is probably going to be a few products from the new holiday line. I am thinking about Bougainville, Downtown and Little Darling. I also really like Sunset Strip lipgloss, which is a permanent shade. It's a perfect golden-peach for medium-dark skin tones.

Gucci SS2011 Milan Fashion Week

Gucci designer, Frida Giannini, captured various cultures using an array of colors and details in her Spring/summer 2011 Milan fashion show. Vibrant, jewel tones and harem pants opened the show; safari-esque neutrals, then night-time, deep tones towards the end of the show. The detailing is amazing, and every piece can be exceptionally worn separately. There was something for everyone from every part of the world. Only a few pieces were simple, but below are most of them which were truly beautiful.

Jonathan Saunders SS2011 London Fashion Week

This line is a more wearable, sister-collection to Alexandre Herchovitch (featured below from NY Fashion Week). The color scheme is mostly the same, but the designed is toned down. Jonathan Saunders creates beautiful silhouettes, and his cocktail dresses usually have an athletic, yet classic touch to them. Below are highlights from his SS2011 show at London Fashion Week.
